Theralind was the beloved of the first Duke of L'Anguille, Corduin. [1a]
History
Legends claim that she was transformed into a sea-monster by a jealous hag. Despite her new form, her natural virture won through and she continues to guard the port city of her love. [1a]
The creatures known as Theralind's Brood also do not attack the port or shipping in the channel leading to it but otherwise seem to lack their mother's virtue. [1a]
