Tancred I

Tancred I was a Duke of Quenelles ^[3a] and a mighty Grail Knight.

He was an enemy of the Lichemaster, Heinrich Kemmler but later fell to the same enemy at the Battle of Montfort Bridge.^[1a]

History

He defeated Kemmeler at the Battle of La Maisontaal in 2491 IC. He confronted the Necromancer again in 2495 IC at Montfort Bridge but he was abandoned by his followers and slain. His animated corpse sent with greetings to King Feramand. ^[1a]

His son, Tancred II, became Duke and continued fighting Kemmler, taking up the Grail Quest and obtaining powerful artefacts to avenge his father.^[1b][2a][2b]
