Cyricus Carrard

Cyricus Carrard was a Bretonnian Baron of Quenelles. ^[1][2b]

History

When the son of Baron Lothar Aquilena of the Border Princes was taken hostage, the former knight called in a debt of honour owed to him by Duke Carrard and their uneasy alliance of warrior knights was forced to mount a treacherous expedition into the Land of the Dead. ^[1]

The expedition failed: Tomb King Septhah the Amaranthine was ressurrected and struck down Carrard personally. Yet when King Septah pursued the last knights into the Badlands, the undead king was in turn slain by the Bretonnians blessed by the Lady at the highlands next to the Black Gulf. This enraged King Settra the Imperishable and he soon invaded the Border Princes. ^[2b]

Arcane Journal Kingdom of Bretonnia calls mentions Baron Carrard of Quenelles while Lords of Lance book mentions Duke of Quenelles. ^[1][2b]

Arcane Journal names Duke of Quenelles as Rademund III. ^[2a]
