Chaos Fleet
Chaos Fleets are either dedicated to a single Chaos god or are made up of a combination of vessels dedicated to different powers. [1b]
Anti-flyer Weapons
Although few Chaos Lords fear air attacks by creatures or machines, Chaos Sorcerers can use a Icon of Power to strike down arial enemies. Mounted on the prow of a vessel, these twisted shapes of black metal have a large crystal eye at their apex that can fire energy bolts at enemy flyers. Ships pledged to Khorne do not use such arcane devices. [2a]
Crew
Most of those aboard a chaos aligned vessel are cultists who have been lured to the dark path by the promise or immortality and rewards. Chaos Warriors and Chaos Knights can be found on these ships and even Chaos Spawn and Beastmen lurk within them. [1a]
