Hadrin
Hadrin was an Dwarf Loremaster who lived inthe Yetzin Valley. [1a]
History
He gained possession of the Crystal of Air when it was sold to Dwarf Engineers by a human bandit in exchange for them creating him a fortified tower. The crystal later showed him that another one of the Crystals of Power was approaching, but in the hands of the Orc Torgoch and Hadrin urged his fellow Dwarfs to flee with the two crystals they now possessed. When they refused, he gave the Crystal to Yazeran who fled in search of a hiding place and shortly after, Hardin himself left the valley with a few followers. However he and his band were attacked by Orcs and had to retreat into a small tunnel-complex and fought hard to drive off the greenskins. Badly wounded, Hadrin dispatched his son Gnarok to try and find Yazeran and get help. [1a]
Before the complex fell, he created a Great Ward to deflect the attention of the orcs which succeeded. Ironically, Torgoch only discovered the true nature of the gem he carried when he found and managed to read Hadrin's books on the subject! [1a]
