Ergrim Stonehammer
Ergrim Stonehammer is a Dwarf Thane from Zhufbar who led an expedition to recover the Solland Runefang and later became a Slayer. [1a]
History
With an outcast knight, he formed a group of adventurers to defeat a monster that had been terrorising the villages of the Moot. They climbed high into the World's Edge Mountains, losing members of the band to Orcs and Skaven or merely being killed in rockslides. [1a]
The survivors found the lair of the beast which turned out to be Chimera which killed more of the warband in the brutal fight that enused. The knight broke his sword but grasped a hilt of another blade half hidden in the piles of treasure and killed the monster in one blow. The sword was then found to be the lost Runefang of Solland. [1a]
For unknown reasons, as the rest of the band marched to Altdorf to present the Runefang to the Emperor, Stonehammer then travelled to Karak Kadrin to become a Slayer. [1a]
