Kragg

Jump to: navigation, search

Kragg the Grim is the current Runelord of Karaz-a-Karak. [1]

The oldest and most powerful living Runelord, he is a gnarled and bad-tempered elder Dwarf. It is rare for him to emerge from the Underhalls of his home hold as he jealously labours at and guards his lore. Many Runesmiths labour away in this complex of forges and mines on great projects, under his strict supervision. [1][3a]

He has yet to find a worthy successor, disapointing many aspiring Runesmiths who have put themselves forward for consideration. [1]

Appearance

Kragg is strong, gnarled and as enduring as a weather-beaten oak tree with a mighty white beard that reaches to his feet. He wears an expression of eternal disapproval with beetling brows over his eyes and his features are as roughly hwen as a granite cliff. [3a]

History

His ancestors fled first from Karal Ungol and later Karak Varn, preserving their secrets when those strongholds fell. [2a]

Name Rune

His name rune is deadly against any enemy. [2b]

Works

His weapons are rightly feared by the enemies of the Dwarfs. [2a]

Weapons and Equipment

  • Kragg's Armour: Gromril armour with the Master Rune of Gromril and the Rune of Shielding. [1]
  • Kragg's Hammer: Inscribed with the Rune of Fury and the Rune of Might. [1]
  • Kragg's Runestaff: The staff has the Rune of Brotherhood, Rune of the Furnace and the Rune of Spellbreaking. [1]
