Ironclad
Ironclads are powerful ships of the Dwarf Navy. [1]
Each ship takes years to produce, their creators seeking to create a vessel that betters any other races warships. [1] As they are tightly sealed, no enemy has ever successfully boarded and captured a Dawi ocean going vessel.[2a]

History
The first Ironclads were launched in the 18th century IC. [2a]
Weapons and Equipment
Huge paddle steamers clad in thick metal armour, they have large turrets fitted with heavy artillery. [1] A Ironclad normally has two primary turrets, one fore and one aft, each mounting two Tempest cannons whilst a secondary turret mounting a Breaker cannon sits behind each of them. One each side are casements which can mount up to four Breakers and there are various gun ports for the crew to use during boarding actions enabling them to fire crossbows, volley guns and swivel guns from safety.
