Khazid Vosk
Khazid Vosk was a stronghold of the Dwarf Engineers Guild lost during the Time of Woe.[1a]
History
Around 2276 IC, Burlok Damminson requested from the Guild that he be allowed to lead an expedition to reclaim the stronghold. It was hoped by the Master Engineers that ancient blueprints and technology could be reclaimed and so they granted Damminson permission to gather a force. He quickly began to gather a sizeable force at Zhufbar and received further aid when Ungrim Ironfist issued a proclamation that resulted in Doomseekers and Slayers joining the growing throng. [1a]
Fighting their way close to Khazid Vosk, they discovered that it was defiled with many Orc banners atop the ramparts. Rather than launch an immediate attack, Burlok had his artillery dig in and after a single ranging shot, the battery began to blast the defences - this carried on until midday. As the guns fell silent, a great mass of greenskins surged out of the hold and towards the emplaced guns.[1a]
