Klawmunkast
Klawmunkast is or was a Warlock Engineer of Clan Skryre who ruled Putrid Pit. [1a]
A enthusiastic but enigmatic commander, his army is known as the Warlock's Warplocks. [1b]
History
He trained under the Grey Seer Skraw and lost an eye in a warpstone explosion in his masters lab. Later the Seer was killed during an attack on Wissenberg, Klawmunkast extracted the Warpstone Charm that Skraw had in his right eye socket and put in his own empty eye socket. [1b]
During the fourth century of the second Skaven civil war, Morbus Sanguis of Clan Pestilens sought to take control over the settlement and its Warpstone mines for his own research needs. As the enemy entered the tunnels however, Klawmunkast who had been warned by his spies was able to unleash his latest war machine the Rat Tank on them in the Battle of Putrid Peak. [1a]
Unfortunately, the tank exploded during the battle and Morbus took the settlement. [1c]
Inventions
He is well known for formidable although often incomprehensible creations treading the fine line between genius and sanity. Klawmunkast has a masterful understanding of the power of warpstone and mechanics. [1b]
