End Times
In 2523 IC, with Lord Skrimanx he was tasked with assaulting the Lizardmen city of Xlanhuapec with the first task being to find a way through the enchanted mists that protected it. He enlisted the Warlock Engineer Reekit who promised that his devices would enable him to navigate through the enchanted fog. [1a] The investment in Clan Skryre proved highly effective, with Reekit's devices proving themselves able to see through the enchanted mists and also reveal the lurking monsters and patrol within it. [1c]
Much of the Skaven army arrived safely at the city itself and fell upon what defenders that could be mustered to meet them - in addition Blistrox dispatched the Blackclaws - elite Gutter Runners to kill the Slann within the temples. With much of the garrison having been previously dispatched to aid the ongoing conflict at Xahutec, the Skaven pushed through the defenders quickly and began looting the Second city of the Lizardmen. [1c]
Only the Temple-pyramids held out with each entrance having been sealed and the Temple Guard within proving deadly to any who dared to try and enter. Even employing such devices as warp fire throwers was not enough - especially since many exploded. The Blackclaws managed to penetrate the Temple of Eternal Serenity and reached the Star Chamber where they attempted to slay the still slumbering Huinitenuchli but Chakax killed them all, even when stabbed with a Weeping Blade. [1c]
Blistrox ordered a new attack on the Temple of Infinite Coils and this time, Lord Hua-Hua was attacked and killed, dispelling the mists that defended the city. The Plague Lord climbed to the top of the pyramid to view the ravaged city but now saw a army of Lizardmen marching fast towards the city. Blistrox gave no warning to the other clans and immediately withdrew with his own guard. He reported to Lord Skrolk, expecting to be blamed for the failure and told him the truth, but to his surprise, the right claw of Nurglitch told him that they had all failed and displayed to him the severed head of Lord Skrimanx. He further told him that they had much think-planning to do....[1c]
In 2525 IC he led one of four massive clawpacks, each headed by a Plaguelord which were dispatched north by Lord Skrolk. They were forced to go overland through the jungle as the subterranean passages had been flooded by rivers diverted by the Slann or crushed by earthquakes created by the Mage-Priests. As he pressed forward, they were faced by the cohorts of Tehenhauin who were lying in wait for them. [1d]
When Blistrox was ambushed on the Trail of Bones he was able to summon a Verminlord, the words of power having being granted to him and the other Plaguelords by Skrolk and his patron. The Greater Daemon of the Horned Rat was able to conjure rolling clouds of corruption and death which blackened and destroyed the jungle for as far as the Skaven could see, killing the Skinks that had hidden within it. Blistrox and his horde continued their advance towards the city of Hexoatl. [1d]
Unable to win via ambush, Tehenhauin made a stand in the ruins of Pahuax, mustering his forces before the remnants of the Temple of the Rising Serpent resulting in the Battle of Pahuax. [1d]
