He had risen within the clan through iron determination, guile and delivering what he was asked for but also knowing when to abandon a lost cause. [1b]
End Times
In 2523 IC, with Lord Blistrox he was tasked with assaulting the Lizardmen city of Xlanhuapec with the first task being to find a way through the enchanted mists that protected it. He commanded the braziers were mounted on poles at the head of regiments of Skaven Slaves - with the promise of food and freedom if they reached their target with the flames lit. [1a]
However once within the mist, it quickly became clear that even the keenest eyed skaven could only see a few yards around them. Worse the army began to disappear around him as the mist shrouded landscape became a hunting ground for the Lizardmen whose eyes were able to see normally as they had been coated with pale blue lotus juice. He and a few of his Plague Monks managed to stagger out and flee into the jungle before retreating to the tunnels below Quetza.[1b]
Lord Skrolk did not appreciate his failure and showed his severed, tortured head to Lord Blistrox. [1c]
