History
A great horde of Greenskins had invaded the lands of the Ostagoths and although King Adelhard defeated a horde at the Battle of the Black Road more Orcs & Goblins assaulted the realms of the Merogens and Menogoths. [1a]
The combined armies of the Cherusen, Endals, Taleutens and Unberogens met them in battle, defending the bridges over the river Aver. For several days and nights the battle raged until finally the humans were victorious but at great cost. Sigmar himself was nearly killed several times but for the sword of Alfgeir. [1a]
Following the victory, huge pyres were made of the greenskin dead, turing once fertile grassland into a ashen wasteland. [1a]
