Skrazslik
Skrazslik is a Skaven Warlord of Clan Skryre.[1a]
History
End Times
As Grand Warlord, he was assigned by Lord Morskittar himself[1c] to take the city of Middenheim, the third warlord to be given this task. [1a]
In 2527 IC the Everchosen Archaon arrived with a vast horde, quickly being joined by beastmen from the deep forest and summoned Daemons. Skrazslik led a grovelling delegation to pledge himself to Archaon and explain his minions failure in taking the City of the White Wolf - the Chaos Lord had little interest in what he had to say until Skrazslik mentioned that a hammer-wielding warlord had arrived and fought his way into the city. [1a]
At Middenheim's Last Stand, Archaon assigned the Skaven the task of taking the gatehouses of the four great viaducts that provided access to Middenheim and Skrazslik saw this as chance to prove himself. [1a] He dispatched teams from Clan Eshin to plant bombs containing the same murdefume that had recently been used at Karak Kadrin and those at the north and east gatehouses both worked and proved highly effective. [1b]
Only when most of the defenders of the underground chambers of the city had been called up to the surface did the Grand Warlord unleash his Stormvermin and Stormfiends who slaughtered the remaining guards, leaving the way clear for hundreds of ratmen to charg up into the streets. [1b] His final action was to send his stormfiends with ratling guns up into the Temple of Ulric and attack the artillery emplaced there - although their bullets tore through the crews, they also detonated many powder kegs which annihilated them as well. [1d]
Uncaring of his loses, Skrazslik led his Stormvermin and Clanrats into the battle but the destruction of the artillery and the arrival of the rat men was noted by Valten who moved to confront them. [1d] The Herald of Sigmar led a powerful assault that halted the Skaven advance with Valten ploughing through increasingly desperate Stormvermin towards the Grand Warlord. Before he could escape, Ghal Maraz crashed down on Skrazslik's head, leaving him no more than a gory smear. [1e]
