Iskar was a Warlock Engineer of Clan Skryre. [1a]

Appearance

When he first encountered W'soran, he had white fur covered by serrated black armour and dirty robes, his head hid by a heavy helm with warpstone lenses. [1a] As a captive, his body and now hairless skull was covered in burn and skin graft scars, his fur faded to a dingy yellow and he was fitted with a brass control collar. [1b] When he sought his revenge with the Lahmians, his eyes blazed green, his talons and body were armoured, partially to hold him together. [1f]

History

In -325 IC he was one of the defenders of Crookback Mountain against the undead of Vorag Bloodytooth and faced off against the vampire W'soran. He was overwhelmed by the vampire's magics, burnt badly enough to boil his eyes and taken captive. [1a] W'oran kept him alive for years, seeking knowledge but got nothing more than repetion of two words - Kill you. [1b]

He began to feed Iskar with gruel made from other skaven, laced with warpstone granting him longevity. [1c] W'soran later extracted his ruined eyes and replaced them with cultivated ones kept working by a serum of vampire blood and Abn-i-khat. [1d]

Iskar was freed from captivity in -265 IC as the Skaven began a campaign to retake their former stronghold and destroyed W'soran's laboratories. [1e]

When W'soran fled from the siege of Mourkain, Iskar brought a horde of Skaven to kill the vampire, joined by the Lahmian Sisterhood vampires Iona, Khemalla amd Layla as well as Melkhior. [1f] However in the enusuing fight, the old Skaven was finally killed as his skull was crushed by W'soran himself. [1g]

Weapons and Equipment

He carried a spear, its blade crafted from pure Warpstone which he could use to absorb or cut through spells cast at him but this was shattered by W'soran. [1a] When he fought W'soran for the last time, his claws had veins of warpstone running through them. [1g]

Quotes

Run-run or die-die, man-thing. It makes no difference to Iskar of Skryre.
