Appearance
They have razor-edged scales which are coated in decaying flesh and blood. [1]
Dwarfs
Although they account for many Grudges, the Dawi have also learned to bind these monsters with collars inscribed with Dwarf Runes allowing them to unleash them upon their enemies. [1]
History
It is said by some loremasters that they are not true Dragons but instead a devolved offshoot of that race that originally migrated into the depths of the world. [1]
Weapons and Equipment
- Breath of Nightmares: The Dragon can emit a hallucinogenic fog that can stop the heart of the living by the terrors it can induce. [1]
- Gromril-hard scales: The most powerful Shard Dragons have scale that are prenaturally tough. [1]
- Rock Burner: It exudes a potent venom that can brun stone. [1]
- Runic Collar: Collars embalzoned with Runes that protect the Shard Dragon from other magic. [1]
