Hawks are hunting birds. ^[1]

Breeds

• Arabyan Redhawks: Mostly brown with bright red patches on their wings. Prized by the nobility due to their formidable hunting skills, they are fierce, proud and if well treated, extraordinarily loyal. This has led to them being so sought after are they that some Arabyan states have banned their export. ^[1]
• Dove Hawks: The most common hunting hawk in the Empire. Very powerful for their small size they can easily deal with an adult rabbit. Their white plumage with a brown crest has led to them being nicknamed Shallyan Monkbirds.^[1]

Falconry

The great home of hunting with hawks in is Araby but it is also increasingly fashionable and exotic in the Empire. ^[1]
