Bears are large animals found in the Old World. [1]
Usually solitary they can be agressive if with young or when wounded and when food is scarce they may approach settlements to scavenge. [1]

Cathay
Giant Panda's are found in the highlands of Cathay. [4]
Kislev
Bears are regarded as sacred to the Kislevites, the very symbol of the cult of Ursun whilst temples to Ulric often include enclosures with bear pits where many bears are kept. [2]
In times of peril the temple keepers drive the bears out to fight the enemies of Kislev. Trained bears are often be used as mounts for Kislevite nobles such as Boyars and Druzhinas. Tzar Boris Ursus himself rode a bear, Urskin, that he tamed himself. [3]
