Argaer

Until her death, Argaer was the companion of the famed High Elf Sage, Lauraen. [1a]
History
Throughout the summer of 2512 IC Lauraen's dreams were wracked by nightmares in which she saw the Avelorn defiled and the Everqueen herself murdered by a host of Daemons. Atop her own shimmering tower she witnessed a final vision, a challenge from a malign force that tempted and challenged her to a clash of might, she ignored the counsel of Argaer and instead summoned the Glittering Hosts, a formidable army sworn to her service. Once they had gathered they set sail for the Old World eventually travlling to a valley strewn with withered trees and dry, lifeless grass south of Salzenmund. As they waited, the daemonic legions of the Howling Coven tore their way into the world and only now did she realise her folly. The lushness of Avelorn that she had seen in her dreams faded to resemble the very valley she and her army stood within. As the Realm of Chaos invaded the land, she realised that the golden-haired beauty slain in her dreams was not the Everqueen, but an altogether more easily duped Elven lady. [1a]
Only Argaer and a handful of Shadow Warriors escape the slaughter. [1a]
