A Vampire Thrall in Mordheim

A Vampire Thrall is a young or even newly created Vampire, sometimes seduced or charmed by hypnotic powers. ^[2]

Their powers often depend on their parent and bloodline. ^[1a] Although they often lack the full power and range of their sires abilities, they are very formidable fighters for any mortal to face. ^[2]

Magic

• 8th Edition: Lore of Death, Lore of Shadow, Lore of Vampires. ^[4a]

Weapons and Equipment

They use a variety of weapons including Hand Weapons, Double-Handed Weapons, Halberds, Spears or Lances. They may ride a Nightmare or even a monster. Some wear Light or Heavy Armour or use Shields.

• 5th Edition: Hand Weapon. May have Barding, Double Handed Weapon, Halberd, Heavy Armour, Lance, Light Armour, Shield and Spear. May have one Magic Item. May ride a Nightmare or a Monster.
• 6th Edition: Hand Weapon. May have Magic Items. May have Vampire Powers. May ride Nightmare with Barding. Blood Dragons and von Carsteins may have Additional Hand Weapon, Light Armour, Great Weapon, Heavy Armour, Lance, Shield. May be Battle Standard Bearer. ^[3a]
• 8th Edition: Vampire: Hand Weapon. May have Additional Hand Weapon, Great Weapon, Heavy Armour, Lance, Light Armour, Shield. May be mounted on Barded Nightmare, Coven Throne, Hellsteed. May have Magic Items, Vampire Powers. May be Battle Standard Bearer. ^[4a]

In the Mordheim: City of the Damned (video game) Vampire Thralls are heroes, with no more than two being active at any one time in an encounter or mission. ^[2]
