Helman Ghorst is a Necromancer and servant of Mannfred von Carstein.[1a]

History

Helman was born in Templehof in Sylvania, one of five brothers. Like his father he became a groom and farrier but he loved to travel and had a unusual desire for danger. [1a]

Returning home one day he found his family had been killed by the Plague of Blue Roses - devestated he attempted to join them in death but the plague took no hold of him. Rejected by the disease, he turned to the study of Necromancy, hoping to bring his family back to life. [1a]

His studies brought him to the attention of the Witch Hunter Alberich von Korden and he was forced to flee with the bodies of his relatives. Wandering in Vargravia he was found by the Vampire Lord Mannfred von Carstein who saw the growing madness in him and nurtured it, gifting him with a tome of the necromantic arts. [1a]

Magic

  • 8th Edition: He uses Necromancy and knows Gaze of Nagash and Vanhel's Danse Macabre. [1a]

Weapons and Equipment

  • Corpse Cart: His bone-ridged cart is now pulled by his siblings. [1a]
