Obadiah Glothman
Obadiah Glothman was a Necromancer who raised an army of the dead in the Drakwald.[1a]
Once he had created his force he moved through the Empire, ghouls also flocking to him from the Howling Hills. [1a]
A force under Captain Köller Volpen of Middenheim was dispatched to deal with the threat, but several actions saw the horde only grow larger with the dead empire solider being raised to add to its ranks. A final conflict was fought across the river Talgarad, a tributary of the Talabec with the empire force deploying artillery to try and destroy the enemy before it could break through the defenders on the bridge. However many of the spearmen, although veterans of the Ork wars had not fought the dead and broke and ran leaving the artillery to also be slaughtered.[1a]
