Ki-rin are elemental creatures of Air and Earth according to the scholars of Cathay. [1a]
The natural environment of the Ki-rin is the storm, where their screams generate lightning and their bellows sound like thunder. [1a]
They have horse like bodies with sparks of lightning arcing from their manes and a long silver horn sprouting from the centre of their forehead. [1a]
On occasion they may allow themselves to be ridden by heroes. [1a]
Weapons and Equipment
As they are un-natural creatures they are able to damage all those other beings normally immune to non-magical weapons. They are able to fly. [1a]
