Reik Eels are huge eels found in the river Reik and its many tributaries.[1]
They normally grow up to 15 feet in length and have a ridge down the length of its green-grey back. Some however continue to grow and reach truly terrifying sizes. [1][2b]
Although not agressive they will attack if they perceive a threat to their young which often happens as elver is a delicacy. [2a]
