Andraste
Andraste was a vampire handmaiden of queen Nitocris of the Southlands.[1]
As a mortal she had been the concubine of a nomad chieftain until her queen made her a vampire and a captain of her armies. In centuries of battle[1b] she killed Lizardmen, greenskins and humans of various tribes and became well known for both her cunning and her viciousness. [1a]
She was careful to appear dangerously loyal to her maker and like her she was vulnerable to the sun’s rays. [1b]
When her queen attacked Lybaras, she was tasked with guarding the Necromancer Octavia, [1c] but when she attempted to release her maddened sisters on Gotrek Gurnisson and Felix Jaegar, Octavia used her magic to badly burn her. [1d]
Despite her terrible wounds, she pursued the slayer, his companion and their own undead allies mounted upon a sister who had transformed into a bat like creature. As the sun rose, Felix put his sword through her heart and she fell to the ground below. [1e]
Nitocris did not feel her die as she did her sisters. [1f]
