Aerethenis was the ruling High Elf Prince of Eataine during the Sundering. [1a]
History
Still a young elf, he became ruler after the death of his uncle Haradrin at the Massacre at the Shrine of Asuryan - shortly after he attended the ceremony to create the new Phoenix King, Caledor I. Like the other Princes, save those of Ellyrion, he wanted to ensure his own lands were safe before they could carry out the kings plan of invading Nagarythe rather than trying to protect the whole of Ulthuan.
