Yvarn of Meletan is a High Elf Prince.[1a]
His family has great influence at court as the are distant relations of the Phoenix King which gained him command of the Eagle Gate.[1a] He was assigned a full legion of the Eataine Guard as his bodyguard.[1b]

Yvarn took up command of the Eagle Gate around 2520 IC and defended it against the Daemons during the Wars of Reclamation and he was first to strike at the Plaguelord Septimus Vile, inspiring the other defenders who had been too fearful to do so.[1a]
