Aneron
Aneron was a Elf Prince of Eataine and ruler of the city of Athel Toralien in Elthin Arvan - later known as the Old World.[1a]
History
His father had founded Athel Toralien and passed the ruler ship to his son. [1b]
In -4164 IC (the 255th year of Bel Shanaar's reign) it was besieged by Orcs and Prince Aneron fled with many of their soldiers when he was unable to defeat the greenskins. Although messengers were sent to Athel Maraya and Tor Alessi for aid, there was no reply and the defenders were unsure if they even reached them. Eight days later, the fleet of Prince Malekith was sighted and he told the people of the city that if they pledged themselves to him he would save them. [1a]
When Aneron complained to the Phoenix King, he was met with scorn from many other nobles and Morathi spoke on behalf of her son, also showing a letter from the surviving people of the city who had sworn their loyalty to Malekith. Conscious of the growing popularity of Prince, Bel Shanaar confirmed Malekith's claim and that any ruler who deserted their people left their domains suitable for reconquest by another prince. [1b]
Shamed before his peers, Aneron left Ulthuan and sailed west to Lustria. [1b]
