Belthania
Belthania is a High Elf Archmage. [1a]
She is a highly respected scholar of the Great Vortex. [1a]
Appearance
In the later 2100s she was a tall elf with long dark hair (that some claim is dyed) who looks much younger than someone in her fifth century. [1a]
History
Belthania is known to be fond of hallucinogenic mushrooms and is rumoured to have many younger lovers. [1a]
Following the attack on the town of Tor Annan by N'Kari in 2171 IC, she was one of those summoned to a council headed by the Phoenix King Finubar. [1a]
She met with Teclis at the Tower of Hoeth following his return from Lustria and warned him that Morathi had been gathering the northern tribes and that the Great Vortex was fluctuating. She also suspected that N'Kari was once again involved. [2a]
When the Dark Elves launched their surprise attack on the whole of Ulthuan, she and all other Loremasters had a vision of ghost of Caledor telling them that Teclis would be going on a important journey and required their aid. During the initial turmoil at the tower, She and Morelian met with Teclis to determine his next step - to forge a new weapon for his journey. [3a]
Belthania joned the army on the Finuval Plain with several other wizards and an escort of Swordmasters. [3b]
