Finudel
Finudel was an Elf Prince and the ruler of Ellyrion during the last decades of the reign of Phoenix King Bel Shanaar. [1a]
History
He traveled with his sister Princess Athielle to Tor Anroc to offer cavalry and spearmen to aid in the fight against the Cult of Pleasure. [1a] Later he and Athielle joined the army of Malekith at the First Siege of Anlec with 2000 Reaver Knights. [1b]
When Cults of Pleasure resurfaced, Finudel was a participant of the the council at Isle of Flame called by Bel Shannar and Malekith to choose a leader to lead the war against the cults. When the King was late, he, Elodhir and Thyriol persuaded the others to remain to hear what he had to say. [1c]
Sundering
Whilst fighting against the forces of Morathi, a large force of warriors from Nagarythe joined his army and on returning to Tor Elyr he found Prince Alith Anar was being hosted at the city by his sister. He suggested that Alith lead the rebels and he accepted as long as he could fight and kill druchii. [2a]
Discovering that the army of Naggaroth had taken the Pass of the Eagle, he and his sister determined to meet them in battle before they could reach the capital. [2a] Two days away from the Pass, they held a council of war to determine their battle plans on the southern bank of the River Irlana as they now knew enemy force was substantially larger than their own. [2b]
Alith suggested first that they flee to fight again another day, when this was refused, that they fight in the pass where the terrain suited a smaller force but the Prince Aneltain countered that would also make their cavalry advantage useless. An angry Alith storming out of the council. They deployed their army and awaited the enemy, resulting in the Battle of Nairain Ely. [2b]
Both Finudel and his sister fought in the pivotal Battle of Maledor leading their Reaver Knights.[3a] As Hellebron and her cultists sought to cut her way through the White Lions to the Phoenix King, they led a counter charge that drove them back but in the ensuing melee, the siblings were separated - then Malekith arrived on Sulekh, killing Finudel. [3b]
Weapons and Equipment
He used Cadrathi, a starblade lance [1b], was clad in gilded Ithilmar armour, each scale bearing a rune of protection and he rode Snowhoof, a mare and sibling to his sisters mount. [2b] At the Battle of Maledor however, he used the spear Mirialith. [3b]
