Haradrin
Haradrin was an Elf Prince and the ruler of Eataine during the last decades of the reign of Phoenix King Bel Shanaar. [1b]
Family
His nephew was Aerethenis, who succeeded him. [2]
History
He succeeded Prince Aeltherin after he killed himself during a raid by the Lothern City Guard led by Captain Carathril. [1b]
Bel Shanaar dispatched Carathril to Lothern to summon Haradrin to a council of Princes who would decide who would lead the war against the Cults of Pleasure. He also asked that Haradrin recall his army and be ready to fight when the call to arms came - to which he agreed. With Carathril he traveled to the Isle of Flame aboard his own elegant Eagleship. [1c]
At the Council, he agreed with Elodhir that it was not right to hand over the crown immediately to Malekith after he claimed Bel Shanaar had been a cultist and committed suicide. After Malekith drew Avanuir and said he would take the throne, violence erupted - Haradrin managed to obtain a sword from a slain Naggarothi knight and attacked Malekith who cut him down with ease. [1d]
Palace
Rather than a fortress, his home was a series of houses and villas within ornate gardens. [1c]
