Ferghal

Ferghal of the Iron Spear was a lord of Tor Yvresse who led an army against Grom the Paunch. [1]
His family had powerful political connections at the court of Tor Yvresse. [1]
History
Still a young noble when he was appointed as commander of the army sent to confront the invading greenskins. Like many others in the city of Tor Yvresse he believed that the simple application of superior elven tactics and weapons woul easily defeat the enemy. [1]
In reality, although he was a skilled fighter, Ferghal had little grasp of how to command an army and very little tactical sense and this was to prove disastrous at the Battle of the Plains. [1]
