Carvalon
Carvalon was a High Elf Prince of Yvresse during the Sundering. [1]
History
He raised a Griffon from a chick, later using it as a mount. [2a]
Carvalon was part of the host that Caledor I brought to the Battle of Maledor, flying aloft on his Griffon. [2a] He attempted to slay Morathi who had been dueling Thyriol, but Malekith intercepted him, his Black Dragon Sulekh tearing the Griffon apart. Carvalon leapt from his dying mount and attacked the Witch King, his enchanted blade cutting deep into the magical armour but as he prepared for another blow, Malekith first impaled him with Avanuir and then using it to cut him in half. Weapons and Equipment
At Maledor he wore blue robes and golden mail as he rode his Griffon, wielding a glowing blue long sword and protected by a shield displaying the symbol of his kingdom against a background of stars. [2b]
