Tor Karyndis
Tor Karyndis was a High Elf settlement in what is now Estalia.[1a]
Its ruins are now known as the Broken Tower and is the lair of a Dragon who ravages the local area every few decades. [1a]
History
Around 2300 IC, after some form of treaty with the Estalians, High Elves under Prince Palanaith moved to the ruins of Tor Karyndis where they raised bright pavilions as they awaited the ships from Ulthuan to take them home. However as Dawn broke, Kaldain of Nagarythe returned to the force warning that Skaven were massing nearby - at the same time, the mage with the elves spoke of a rising tempest of Magic. [1a]
The Elves were soon attacked by a large Skaven force leading to the Fall of Tor Karyndis with only one survivor reaching the transport ships. The Magma Dragon summoned by the mage Caluandr made it too dangerous to recover the dead or search for survivors in the ruins. [1b]
