Empire Dwarfs
Empire Dwarfs are Imperial Dwarfs who join its armies when they go to war. [1a]
Dwarfs have lived in the Empire since the time of Sigmar and whilst they are not usually recruited by the State Regiments, they form their own units in times of war. [1a]
History
During the Great War Against Chaos, many Imperial Dwarfs marched to the banner of Magnus von Bildhofen with several battalions of Dwarfs drawn from Nuln, Reikland, and Wissenland sent ahead of the main army to establish a forward camp on the Urskoy River. [2a]
Uniforms
Although on occassion they may wear the colours of their home city or Province, it is just as common for a Empire Dwarf unit to wear clothes and colour of their own choice. These are usually far brighter and more in keeping with their home than the more subdued colours of the mountain dwelling cousins. [1a]

- 4th Edition: Hand Weapon, Light Armour, may have Crossbows, Shields and Spears. [1b]
