History
After Master Engineer Herman Faulkstein witnessed spectacular Cathayan fireworks, he was inspired to transform the display rockets into weapons of war. He survived a number of devastating failed experiments and never lost faith in his design. [1a]
The original rockets corkscrewed wildly proving very inaccurate but guidance fins improved their stability enabling them to actually hit enemy regiments with the shrieking explosive projectiles. [1a]
