Gunna von Sperren
Gunna von Sperren is the Smuggler Queen of Nordland in the Empire c. 2510 IC. [1]
Criminal organisation
She presides over a complex web of smuggling bands, trafficking gangs, and wreckers with contraband rarely arrives on the Nordland shore without her blessing and a hefty donation. Seven primary smuggling rings are operated by her, each controlled by one of her adult children importing goods such as Bretonnian brandy and exotic herbs and items stolen from the Laurelorn Forest. Her eldest daughter Edelyn works with House Akkerman’s in Marienburg whilst her vicious son Esben deals with shadowy figures in the sewers under Erengrad, who seek living captives. [1]
History
As a young girl, she grew up gutting fish in Hargendorf’s Seegabe Market but sometime before her 18th birthday, she blackmailed the ageing Elmer von Sperrenher into marriage with her. He ran a small trading concern which shipped cargo for House Akkerman of Marienburg and as his wife she slowly assembled a criminal empire before her husband was killed by a large Sea Scorpion that had somehow made it into his bedchamber.[1]
Locations
Gunna lives in a grandiose mansion in the Norsaugen ward of Hargendorf where minstrels play genteel airs and her children mingle with sea captains and members of the von Hargenfels family, who nominally rule the Barony. [1]
Weapons and Equipment
She dresses in expensive attire akin to that worn by Reikland nobility and she is accompanied by a Hyenadon which was taken from a wrecked Bretonnian galley which had traveled to Lustria. [1]
