Johan Zauberlich
Johan Zauberlich is a wizard of the Amethyst Order. [1a]
Appearance
He is invariably dressed in flamboyant clothing and has the cultured if pedantic accent of a savant of the University of Nuln. [1a]
History
Johan was a initiate at a temple of Sigmar that was attacked and burned to the ground by Beastmen led by the Chaos Warrior Thalman Lionheart. Hiding in the forest where he had been gathering wood, he was rescued by the Templar Aldred Fellblade who had been dispatched to investigate what had happened. [1a]
Aldred nursed him back to health and on his return to Nuln, Johan studied at the University where he and Fellblade uncovered the Crimson Rose, a cult dedicated to Tzeentch which they destroyed. [1a]
Like his companion he swore an oath to recover the sword Karaghul from the depths of Karak Eight Peaks but also began receiving premonitions of his own death. [1a]
