Viktor Helmgart
Viktor Helmgart was a Grand Theogonist of the Cult of Sigmar.[1a]
Artefacts
In 2415 IC, the wizards of the Colleges of Magic gathered to decide the next Supreme Patriarch but the usual duels were much fiercer and soon magical violence spread across Altdorf threatening to consume it entirely. Viktor gathered every able-bodied soldier he could and marched upon the Hall of Duels, sundering the great arcane doors to the hall with a single blow of his warhammer. [1]
They saw the mage Horx, gibbering insanely as all eight Winds of Magic danced between his fingertips and who engulfed the first soldiers through the door in a corona of magic. Summoning every ounce of his faith, Viktor uttered a single word of justice in the booming voice of Sigmar which stunned Horx’s and in that pause a Witch Hunter’s enchanted bullet blew out the back of his head. A vast pillar of magic erupted forth from the corpse that engulfed the fulcrums of power on which the dueling Patriarchs stood, slaying most outright. Only Alric of the Amethyst Order and the imprisoned Patriarch of the Light Order survived the magical backlash. [1]
It was under the scrupulous gaze of Viktor they rebuilt the Colleges of Magic, introducing safeguards to prevent the cataclysmic events of the Night of a Thousand Arcane Duels from ever happening again. [1]
