Immelscheid

Immelscheid is a mining town in the Grand Duchy of Middenheim. [1a]
The town provides almost all of the slate used for roofing the buildings of Middenehim itself and has several satellite villages that service its artisans, harvest lumber or support the mining. Large amounts of gunpowder are used and shipped to the town which is carefully monitored. [1a]
Fort Immelscheid
Created to guard the road from Middenheim to Hochland, the importance of the bastion was greatly reduced when the Barony of Holzbek came under the Graf of Middenheim and it is now only manned by a token garrison. [1a]
