Coaching Houses provide transport across the Empire. [1a]
Each House operates their own Coaching Inns along their route as well as calling at independent Inns, although Four Seasons now has a complete chain along the major roads out of Altdorf. [1a]

Major Houses
These are the largest and most powerful but hundreds of smaller houses operate in the Empire.[1a]
- Cartak Lines: Based in Altdorf. [1a]
- Castle Rock Coaches: Based in Middenheim. [1a]
- Cannon Ball Express: Based in Nuln. [1a]
- Four Seasons: Largest of the Houses, based in Altdorf [1a] and expanding rapdily. [2a]
- Imperial Expressways: Based in Nuln.[1a]
- Ratchett Lines: Based in Altdorf [1a] - an older line popular with nobles and whose employees pride themselves on their service although their carriages can seem old fashioned and sometimes a bit shabby. [2a]
- Red Arrow Coaches: Based in Averheim.[1a]
- Tunnelway Coaches: based in Talabheim. [1a]
- Wolf Runner Coaches Based in Middenheim. [1a]
