Alberich Von Korden is a Witch Hunter of the Empire. [1a]
History
His early career was spent prosecuting deviants in Altdorf, culling street folk and executing traitors. Even perverted aristocrats were convicted and burnt but this made powerful enemies and tales began to circulate that he could no longer tell the innocent from the guilty. [1a]
It was only the intervention of the Emperor Karl Franz that saved him from disgrace by assigning him to help police Sylvania. Over decades he built up a loyal body of men across the land and gained a fearsome reputation by slaying such beasts as the Templehof Vargheist and three vampires. [1a]
