Helmut
Helmut the Black was the Commander of the Steam Tank Von Zeppel. [1]
He was also a respected but feared attendant of the Elector Count of Nuln and perhaps even his personal assassin. Helmut was brilliant tactician and his troops obeyed him unfailingly but he was never popular with them. [1]
History
He remained undefeated for a number of years with his final battle being against a horde of Undead that had invaded the centre of the Empire. Some say a powerful Necromancer had sought revenge but many considered that he was assassinated by those who considered a commoner had too much influence over the Count. [1]
Weapons and Equipment
He favoured a longrifle built to his own design and used it from the fighting platform to snipe enemy commanders. In battle he and his tank were kept behind the main battle line and although he preferred to avoid melee, he was a formidable fighter, using a huge two-handed sword. [1]
