Ludwig II Hohenbach
Ludwig II Hohenbach was Emperor of the Empire around 1000 IC.[1a]
He called himself Ludwig der Grosse on his coins but was more commonly known to history as Ludwig the Fat.[1a]
Ludwig was a glutton and sensualist, infamous for torturing and killing chefs that offended his taste until in 1010 IC[1b] he ordered his Halfling valet to create a meal for for his greatness. So impressed was he by the results that he appointed him as Imperial Chef and Elector Count, granting his people and their fertile farmlands independence from Averland and Stirland. The daughters of both the Elector Counts of those provinces had previously spurned his advances and he considered this suitable vengeance.[1a]
The Cult of Sigmar saw an opportunity to gain power and invited him to many wonderful banquets, feasts and suppers even gifting him with a new palace in Altdorf with fine dining halls, kitchens and well appointed privies. Eventually he granted the cult a Electoral vote.[1a]
