Siegrich I

Siegrich I of Asoborn tribe was the first Emperor of the Empire following the departure of Sigmar. He ruled between 50 and 51 IC.^[1a][2]

History

Before taking the throne he was the ruling Count of Averland. ^[1a]

Following a suggestion by the a high priest of Rhya, he was elected by the Counts of the Grand Provinces. His first act as Emperor was to confirm the electorial process in law and rename the counts as Elector Counts.^{[1a] [2]}

He died in a hunting accident in 51 IC and was succeeded by Hedrich I of the Unberogens.^[2]
