Brewery Destroyed. |
Battle for Bugman's Brewery is when Bugman's Brewery was destroyed by Goblins. [1a] [2]
History
The Goblin Warlord Git Guzzler united his tribe, the Troll-beaters with the Red Tooth-Bandits of Grotsnag and the Sourface Goblins of the Goblin Shaman Grabnatz Sourbelly to march on the famed brewery of Josef Bugman. [1b]
Meanwhile Bugman himself had been delayed from returning by Goblin river pirates but having seen warning beacons lit was racing back to save his precious brews. In his abscence, Durzak Dragonback rallied the defenders to man the walls and prepare to defend it from the large horde of greenskins. [1a]
Outcome
Ultimately Bugman did not reach the Brewery in time and it and all the ale was consumed in a drunken orgy of destruction. The vats were smashed, empty barrels floated on the river and there was no sign of any inhabitants. Every last one of them had been taken off by the Goblins to who knew what fate. Bugman and his rangers swore to enact a mighty vengeance.[2]

Notes
The battle in White Dwarf 302 presents a possibility to Bugman to reach the battle in time. Alas, this did not occur historically. [1c]
- note: Given that Git desired to be more famous than Grom the Paunch, the attack seems to have occurred sometime after Waaagh! Grom of 2410 - 2424 IC.
