Kruken was a mining town in the Drakwald Forest near Middenheim in the time of Sigmar. [1a]
It was located about a days ride west of Middenheim on some low hills. [1a]

History
Kruken was built atop the ruins of a Dwarf settlement. [1a]
A band of fanatics led by Torbrecan arrived in the town, they were marching across the Empire but also taking plague with them so Count Myrsa tasked the Redwane and the White Wolves with breaking them up and taking their leader prisoner. [1b]
Mining
Deposits of tin were mined but they were not as deep as had been anticipated. [1a]
