Dread Saurians are monstrous reptiles in Lustria. ^[1]

Constantly hungry, they can tear apart an adult Stegadon ^[1] with a bite of their vast jaws. ^[2]

History

In ancient times they fought the ancestors of the Dragons for supremacy. ^[2]

Lizardmen

They are kept as living shrines in certain Temple-Cities as symbols of the lost glory of the Old Ones. These Dread Saurians are clad in armour that is studded with arcane devices that allow the Slann to control them through ancient ritual. ^{[1] [2]}

Weapons and Equipment

• 8th Edition: Panoply of the Ages, Rending Jaws. May have Blazing Configuration of Chotec, Golden Shroud of Tlazcotl, Quetzl's Flawless Heartstone, Shadow Rebus of Huanchi, Tepok's Crystalline Eye. ^[2]

• Panoply of the Ages: Ancient ceremonial armour which when combined with the beasts own scales is the equivalent of full plate armour and shield! ^[2]
• Shadow Rebus of Huanchi: Markings of the god that surround the Saurian with flowing shadows. ^[2]
