Stimmigen
Stimmigen is a town in the Reikland of the Empire. [1a]
It is built around the major bridge that crosses the Ober river. [2a]
History
In 852 IC, Emperor Joachim II ordered that the entire town be burnt after its council was discovered using the services of a sorcerer. [4a]
Flying above the town during harvest time, the Dragon Caledair was attracted by a smell she’d never encountered before and alighted in the fields, demanding that her curiosity be satisfied at once. It was the legendary Ernwald, the famed apple of the town. She was delighted upon being presented with a few barrels and swore that she would never burn the fields about Stimmigen as long as two large vats of Ernwald awaited her every harvest season. Even so, two vats of fresh apples are kept in a clearing near the Orchards and every barrel of Ernwalds is branded with the Dragon’s Seal of Approval! [3a]
Ruler
Graf Heinrich von Falkenhayen. [1a]
Trade
The town also serves as a toll bridge and market for local villages [1a] Agriculture [1a] and Orchards, in particular the Reiklands best known apple - the tart but sweet Ernwald. [2a]
