Helmut Feuerbach
Helmut Feuerbach is the Elector Count of Talabecland. [1a][4a][5][8][9]
A notoriously foul-tempered man and noted for his heavy-handed style of ruling, he was disliked by many including the Temples, the Merchant's Guild and various nobles. [3a]
History
Helmut had an ancestral rivalry with Graf Alberich Haupt-Anderssen of Stirland since the Age of Three Emperors. When the bitter rivalry between resulted in violence, Emperor Karl Franz had to personally travel to Talabheim to resolve the issue. The patience and diplomatic skills of the Emperor were significantly challenged yet he won the enemies over and the potentially bloody civil war was averted.[4b]
In 2515 IC Helmut accompanied Emperor Karl Franz to Bretonnia leaving his wife, Countess Freya Feuerbach and a council of advisors to rule Talabecland. [1a]
With his army he marched north with the crusade of Grand Theogonist Volkmar the Grim and managed to survive the battle with Archaons horde, returning home demoralised and fearing the worst for the future. [7]
Storm of Chaos
Helmut attended the Conclave of Light to discuss the rising threat to the Empire posed by Archaon. [6][7]
Helmut led a large contingent of his army to the aid of Karl Franz but went missing in action towards the end of the conflict.[8] Rumours continued to surface that he was still alive and been spotted in various places but Countess Elise Kreiglitz-Untern took control in his abscence. [3a]
